Not a fan of the format of season 18. I understand that the goal is to find dancers who are ready for a gig on day one. But I still don’t think this format is how you do that. When you want commercial talent, you also want people to LIKE them. I found that very difficult week to week. Dancer quality was also meh. As for the judges, I only really liked Alison because I have followed her journey since she was a contestant and her relationship with Twitch. But it still doesn’t seem like being a judge is a natural fit for her. And the other two don’t do anything for me at all. Max is kinda arrogant and I have no idea what JoJo brings to the panel at all. I’ve always Cat as a host so she gets a star all on her own. Really sad the show has declined from a quality perspective for sure.
