Sure there are some flaws with the script and the young actors could be better, but in order to appreciate the series you need to understand Spanish culture: the prejudice, the strong temperament, the violence of one of the scariest neighborhoods in Madrid, which is the reason why the apartment for sale has no viewings. Nobody wants to live in Entrevías. So, instead of acting like armchair quarterbacks, criticizing an international production, why don't you try to learn instead. Don't be lazy and turn the dubbing feature off. Listen to the language and read the subtitles. It's good exercise for your brain and at the same time, you will learn about another culture and you might learn some Spanish too. Stop thinking that American shows are the best and try to make some intelligent choices instead of criticizing a production that gives a lot of people jobs. It may not be perfect but it's not as bad as you all say.
