Terrible movie Just another mythical mess. And this bogus flick Telling kids “ you got this “ .. when all they got was the ticket stub. No honest motivation or storytelling. In an reasonably honest telling.. Moana and friends are dead inside 5 minutes. Why not insert some real, authentic and historically correct human adventure that takes real courage and know how. Make Moana and friends truly courageous, instead of a bunch of imaginary cartoons cooked up by fantasy writers sitting snuggly on their couches and recliners. The manufactured characters never even get even close to the incredible real story of the Polynesian culture and exploration (like every other culture they fictionalize) instead settling for an unoriginal , and made up screenplay. What a wasted , nonsensical piece of garbage. Who writes these pieces of trash ? C’mon Disney.. you can do so much better .. but you choose to make a totally fabricated , tasteless tale of artificial empowerment. Shame on you. Btw.. people around me leaving seats throughout just to get a break from this absurd , embarrassing movie
