Some very interesting content but the host has the personality of a wet dish cloth throughout. Getting a smile or a joke out of him is tougher than getting blood from a stone. I was somewhat puzzled by some issues raised in the series e.g. is it racist to eat or cook food that is not directly from your own culture? What is your own culture? If you weren’t born in a country or ever lived there are you allowed to call that your culture? Is he not American? At what point is he/his family now allowed to cook Korean food? Genuinely curious.
