I had my doubts about this purchase and I wish I'd listened to my head when it told me not to buy, sadly I went with my heart and the fact that it was reduced on PS store to just £40 ( and I think that's way overpriced) Maybe I was expecting too much. But I thought that the latest greatest GT game on a PS5 system was going to be wow, when in reality it isn't. Visually it's nice, but not the stunning graphics I was led to believe it had. But the biggest let down for me is the handling of the cars. They all feel the same, like the car is just bolted to the middle of the screen and the track/scenery moves around it. Add in that there is little to no feel/feedback from the cars and they all feel stiff and lifeless, dead in your hands and it's a recipe for disaster in a driving game. I wish I could get my purchase price back because even at the lower £40 I feel cheated. I think £20 would have been a fair price to pay. Just cannot justify anymore. Really wouldn't recommend this game at all. I read other reviews and can't see why it's getting all the praise it's getting? Am I playing a different game or something? Just a massive disappointment, which is a shame because I really wanted it to be as great as I thought it would be, but it wasn't ..

Many people are giving bad reviews, stating that the game has poor graphics and is unplayable. This is not true, but, you have to work at it to get the best from it. The game is very hard at first and the learning curve is steep. Sure, you will fall off at first for no apparent reason, but, if you keep practicing you will get better and the game then comes into its own. I've been playing for around two weeks and am starting to get a feel for the bikes. Forget the big 1000cc bikes to start with, they are simply too fast at first. Use one of the lesser powered 600cc bikes and learn the track on that. The power is more manageable and it makes life a lot easier. You can have some really good racing in the 600cc class. Once you've mastered the control of the bike the game is really good fun and you can throw the bike around and the game becomes so much easier to master. If you want a game where you can just pick up the controller and go in 5 minutes it's not the game for you. But if you are prepared to take some time to learn the bikes and the tracks and master the controls, it's very rewarding to play. As for the graphics being terrible, well I find them quite good, maybe not the best, but plenty good enough. If like me you got the game on sale (£8) in the PlayStation store, then it really is a bargain!! Don't listen to the negative comments and give it a try, if you're like me, you'll be pleasantly surprised!!

Really enjoying this game and been playing for 6 weeks or more now. Loads of weapons options and upgrades for your team and their equipment. Very addictive game. Loads of missions and you can play how you want to play, as there is no set theme/pattern/order to do them in, which I like very much. Would recommend 100% if you like shooting games in general. Great value for money as I only paid £12 for it used..

I had Gran Turismo 4 on PS2 and loved it!!! I can't say the same about this though on PS4. The cars feel slow and dead in your hands, with no feel. The graphics, whilst not awful, are, in my opinion, not that great. I remember the hours of fun I had on GT4, but this after a few hours I'm just frustrated and pretty bored with it to be honest. Weather I'll play it more and it grows on me remains to be seen, but for now I much prefer to play other driving games, Dirt Rally 2.0 is my current favourite by far...
