I am BUMMED. It was hard to get into the first book and the plot moved too fast. But I also loved the mystique behind the fae which was why I stuck with it. Book two was a bit better. And then once again it moved too fast. I am currently reading the last book and it is in fact a drag. I can hardly muster the strength to read the last few chapters. What started out as an adventure/romance/some spicy scenes has turned into a joke. Feyre is completely unlikable. (I could hardly stand her in the first two books) By the last books she’s still in her early twenties acting as if she’s a “mother” to all. So “wise” and “mature”. This book was feeling like the Hunger Games until it turned into a full on por*no. Don’t get me wrong I love my steamy romance books but this is OVER the top. By the last book there is NO plot. Seriously NO plot. The last two books felt rushed. If someone told me an 8th grader wrote the last two books I would believe it. Corny one liners, and whiny characters make this series practically unreadable. This series could have been SO good. I can hardly stand the “dialogue” between Nessa and Cassian. Let me break this down: the Fae Creatures are written as if they are cheesy high schoolers, the heroine is … well you will see, by the last book there is no plot and only s*x scenes written at an 8th grade reading level.
