They moved so far away from the source material it is unrecognizable. I understand they didn't want to focus on Anne's youngest daughter, we didn't know her through the films but to destroy the continuity and pretend that only 5 years have passed is ridiculous. Such a shame, the first series is magnificent.

At first I wasn't sure about the songs but quickly they settled in to be a moving part of the film. Wherever I Fall is especially moving. Don't expect a happy ending, it follows the play.
