A somewhat unloved album by a rather obscure Canadian prog rock band. "Endangered Species" has been criticized for being generic sounding, although it is unlike most of the other work that was produced by Klaatu, I have always really enjoyed the album. To me, the standout track is "Sell Out, Sell out" clever and witty lyrics alluding to the difficulty of an extremely talented band to make a commercial breakthrough. "The Ivory Tower has fallen down. The nickels and dimes are spent. I've given up castles in the air I couldn't afford the rent"
