A searching look at how wealth was accumulated legally and outside the law by white New England men of privilege, faith, and culture at the expense of the lives of African children, women and men. If anyone needs credible information of how racism and wealth are intertwined in the development of the United States, this film provides it and does so through the lens of one family that courageously faces its role and current responsibilities.
I applaud and thank Katrina Brown and her family for shedding light on our dim awareness from the overlooked stuff in their attic.
