It's no Gladiator.... I love dark thrillers with a wide scope of attention grabbing characters...This wasn't that. The film started off with a transfixed flavor with dark tones..but went sideways about 2/3's of the way through. I enjoyed the old feel and the atmosphere. The film was well done with genuine authenticity. I can't say I wasn't impressed with the actors, but I can say I wish they were less comfortable with heavy pressure to be real.I wondered if they truly enjoyed playing their parts...they seemed bored. It is a film worth watching but I don't think it will stand the test of time...
