I don’t care what the critics say, I found this film to be beautifully poignant on so many levels. I identified with the main character, in that I lost my husband of 43 years, ten years ago. I felt for this characters grief, having been there myself. We all grieve in our own way and time, but grief is grief, no matter which way you slice it. As with him, my friends were my saving grace.
I did not care for “Schitz Creek”, nor for Dan Levy’s acting or writing. However, he was exceptional in the new film, and his writing is without compare. I have developed a deep respect for this young man’s talent.
