It’s ok. Some of the performances aren’t really believable. A lot of ego and bravado thrown around ruins the vibe. There’s no real feeling of grit that you need in a scene like this. Miscast or naive direction or both. It’s a shame.

It’s polished. But the writing and direction is a bit lazy, or naive. The car chase in the finale was a bit embarrassing to watch. If the safety restrictions are that tight you need to use some cgi or something. YouTube videos of Ken Block provide much better thrills.

While I was watching I kept thinking, this actor (Scott Ryan) has had training or something, and almost seems as though he’s experienced all this himself. The close quarters combat sprinkled through the series is always worth the wait. I bought the box set just so I can show a couple of the scenes to my friends. After watching it I recommend reading a bit about the actor/creator/producer Scott Ryan. 👍

PS5 review: It’s a bit cheap. The visuals aren’t very good especially if you want a high frame rate, which you’ll need because it’s a quick paced action game. The controls feel a bit loose and sloppy at times, like the last 2 Jedi games. Its just another average game that’s a bit over priced.

Good - Not about a computer game - Not some crap about being in another world…like a computer game. - People with an average iq or higher can enjoy it.

This could have been good but the inclusion of the daughter in the story slows it down and detracts from the experience. The performance of the daughter is stiff and unnatural and ruins the flow of the Axel F Beverly Hills Cop ride.

Look at the woman with the HOCUS POCUS hands bottom middle of the poster. You can already tell it’s going to be bad. Disney just aren’t listening to anyone.

One of the most important things for me in anime, and the reason I began following it (besides the weird and absurd that was new to the west back then) way back, was for the art. I can put up with a lot in an anime if the art is good. The art in this is pretty average and bland. With frames often being dropped. That and the “chew” “chew chew” of the language used by the dogs is more than enough to distract you from the show. There are plenty better ways to “waste time” and plenty better shows to help. There are also plenty better shows that aren’t a waste of time, with great art, story, acting and writing.
