This is the age old story of derailing any indigenous effort in India, many of us saw it first hand when Pitroda introduced cheap telephone system in the 80s. it is a true story based on first hand account of a person who was in the middle of it, with a lot of cinematic license. I do see a lot of apologists off a discredited news portal spinning a story of some 4 steps and Brazil rejection. It shows the ignorance of those posting those comments, and not knowing the backstory of the internal politics of Brazil.
