I totally agree with Brent Newman’s defense of and praise for this movie as thoughtful, intelligent and humorous. I also saw The Intouchables, the foreign film based on the same true story. This was more entertaining. I have been quadriplegic for 25 years. I appreciated the point of view that showed Phillip as something other than an object of pity. Sincere thanks to the A-listers who put their star power behind a thoughtful script and pulled this off.
