This could have been a an A+ romcom without the musical numbers. I feel like the musical aspect made this overly quirky like a knock of Mama Mia. It was still a fun watch though.

What a powerful and harrowing film. The atrocities of WWII show the worst of mankind. It is stories like this, of the ordinary people who did extraordinary things that provide hope even in the darkest of times. I'm glad stories like this continue to be told. We need to never forget, so we never get back to a horrible place like this.

I recently did a project for school about the lifecycle of stars. I had to find a children’s book to add to my lesson. I picked up a bunch of children’s books that looked like they would work. Most of them I knew within a few pages were not what I was looking for. This was one of them. However, this one caught my attention, and I kept reading. Written for the authors brand new son as and introduction and welcome to the planet. I really like this book as an Earth Science resource because in the illustrations they give great facts about the planet. I also like the message that the world may seem big, but we are all connected, and we need to do are best for each other and the planet.
