I love this show so much. Rose and Theo are both absolutely fantastic and swoon-worthy in their roles. Rose gives Clare a perfect fire and sense of authority that you don't see in other iterations of the character. Theo showcases excellent range in portraying both the young, angry Henry and the older, more grounded Henry. The show adds a comedic tone that isn't present in the movie. I enjoyed it even more than the book. I'm devastated that HBO has cancelled the series only weeks after initial airing. I have never written a review of a piece of media ever, but I felt so passionately about this show that I had to give praise to everyone involved in the project. Though critics don't seem to feel favorably toward the series, audience members like myself loved it and felt deeply connected to it. I'm sad and think it was an extremely premature decision for HBO to let go of this precious series, but I highly recommend the show to anyone looking for some romance in their life.
