Just watched the film "Valiban"! In my opinion, it's a must-watch movie that takes us on a three-hour journey through the legendary world of Valiban. The film portrays Valiban as a courageous warrior who travels to various lands, engages in wrestling, and triumphs over his opponents with integrity. Director skillfully transforms the fantasy stories of our childhood into a captivating reality on the screen. Valiban's famous quote, "nee kandathellam poi, ini kaanappovathu nijam" (what you've seen so far is false, what you'll see now is the truth), adds a unique dimension to the storytelling. Notably, the cinematography vividly captures every place and time, creating a visually stunning experience with an appealing color scheme. The film's music, with its excellent background score, enhances the overall cinematic experience, making it even more impactful in the theater. Lalettan's acting is truly magical, leaving the audience in awe of his extraordinary acting. The supporting characters, including Harish Peradi as Lal's guru, also deliver commendable performances, each one outdoing the other. The meticulous art direction transports us to a bygone era, successfully immersing us in the film's historical setting. Director LJP (Lijo Jose Pellissery) deserves special mention for his craft, evident throughout the film.
