This movie was soooo embarrassing from twee plot to atrocious accents.

As an avid reader of the Dune series of books and having seen the original Dune film I was really looking forward to seeing this IMPROVED version. What a let down. For all the extra film making technology available this was terrible. The casting was poor- our hero had all the charisma of a pop video extra. Jason Momoa showed his usual limited acting ability. Stellan Skarskard's Vladimir Harkonen was completely overshadowed by Kenneth McMillan's take on the character. Altogether a total (very expensive) flop.
