BOYCOTT THIS DRAMA, MAKE IT 1 STAR! IT'S SICKENING! I was so, so hyped to watch this because a romance with a genie? Sounds like an amazing storyline. I am a Christian and seeing them call the genie 'Satan' was an instant smile drop for me and makes me incredibly uncomfortable. They could could have used a random name instead...why Satan? Really feels like they're turning Muslim and Christians' faith into a joke. As I mentioned, I am a Christian and them also mocking Muslims like this is sickening. You should NEVER make fun of a religion, it's absolutely disgusting. I have 0 respect for any of the writers and directors, anyone who made this movie. You guys are truly messes up making a drama like this and not only poking fun as religion, making Islam into a joke is a whole new level of low.

Me and my mother started watching this together and will say for me, felt like lots of moments were cringy but at the same time I was enjoying it. Oh my goodness I'm glad I did, waiting for tonight for episode 12 and I highly recommend it! The episodes gets better and better, especially episode 10 and 11 had me and my mom at the edge of our seats! As for the romance it's adorable, having this king who's seen as a tyrant falling so head over heels over the head chief cook and just in the end he becomes very likeable.

Just started watching this and oh my goodness this is hilarious! I keep finding myself cracking up every few seconds and I can't help but keep watching the rest of the episodes. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good laugh with some fantasy to it!

Oh boy where do I begin...me and my mother decided to start a K-Drama together and I saw so many positive reviews about this K-drama I felt excited to try it. Me and my mom wanted to watch this k-drama due to Ji Chang-wook because we adore the K-dramas he plays in. Let's just say...the cringe is unbearable and hard to sit through. Han Dal Sik (guy with the dreads) made me and mom mom pretty much fast forward whenever he came on screen because he irritated me mom so much and made me cringe every time he was on screen. The fight scenes are a little...unrealistic and badly edited me and my mom had to awkwardly laugh it off at how silly it is. Halfway through episode 5 I turned and saw my mom was basically asleep due to how boring it got. It's like the writers didn't have any story-line ideas to make it interesting. I also found the teenager and adult relationship...very uncomfortable to say the least. Me and my mom's number one rule in a K-drama is to always watch until episode 3 before deciding if we want to continue watching or not but oh gosh after Episode 5 we physically could not sit through this anymore.
