As an advid fan of the original I couldn't help but be disappointed in this movie, it literally took the term remake and remade the movie in scenarios that made no sense nor did they flow as effortlessly as the original. I am at a complete loss as to what the movie wanted you to take away from this near perfect rip off however I could not feel anything but sympathy for the original Mr Banks from the first movie. Mr Banks and his ever motto of 'place it in the bank' clearly was the victor here as his invested tuppence saved the day and rescued the house.
