I’ve been a fan of Battlefield since bad company, Battlefield 2042 was abysmal, this is a nice return to the old feel. It needs some more polishing that’s to be expected of these large titles with complex systems but I’ve only had a few drops from games due to bugs, and only 2 game crashes after playing nearly 40 hours. So not bad but needs some polishing. If you play through all the modes the maps changes based on game mode, so in one mode you may access a roof but on another mode on the same map that roof becomes inaccessible, it’s a interesting way to balance out the gameplay but can be frustrating when you are trying to use tactics to get around your enemy. This is not an arcade shooter like COD and requires a more deliberate approach to prepping loadouts and killing enemies. Gunplay seems nice but some of the damage feels inconsistent at times but that’s due to range drop off and velocities which is why I have always like Battlefield, the ballistics are closer to realistic, but still some point blank shots feel off. The distances also seem off, 300M feels and looks like a mile, due to rendering limitation it can be an issue trying to snipe or counter snipe when rendering doesn’t show the individual, this is where the console vs PC really becomes a problem but they do let you disable crossplay which evens the playing field, but causes the less popular game modes to wait forever in lobby
