The new CBS Ghosts is nowhere near as good as the BBC original. I highly recommend checking out the original on HBO. The plot is the same but the US version doesn’t compare to the success of the original. The British cast (of which most are also writers for/ creators of the show) make the show the success that it is. Unfortunately the US version feels like a cheap knockoff that just simply can’t replicate the brilliance of the original. The chemistry between the cast and perfect delivery from everyone on the British version seems light years beyond what those of the US cast are able to achieve. Along with overall better writing, direction and character depth of the BBC version, the US version just seems to fall flat.
