This was such a great read, credit to you Philip for sharing your family story. I was brought up in Stanhope and lived there until I was thirty-eight. I remember your parents and the shock that went around the village when they tragically passed away. I was in tears so many times whilst reading the book, for so many reasons, sadness, memories of people I knew well and being taken back to my own childhood.
