This show is well acted and well written, but has some strange musical choices. Whenever a sappy scene starts or ends, here comes the 90s. This isn't a bad thing, it's just a tad jarring at times.
The Bear was listed as a comedy online in a few spots, so I gave it a chance and it came off as a remake of "Scrubs" without any humorous beats, but instead heavy depression. I really dug it, and had a laugh that someone thought that this was a comedy. Did they really like Scrubs, but hated the constant punchlines? What was so funny to them about this show?
