What a terrible terrible book!!!! I’ve been a John Grisham fan for as long as I’ve been reading and I’ve never come across such a pointless novel!!!! It started off with a murder and I kept reading to find out why thinking that there must be a twist (other than the very obvious reason everyone could figure out right away) but had to go through all this unnecessary war details that made it more a war novel only to figure out there was no twist after all. I could have stopped reading after chapter 1 when the victim said “if this is about Liza I can explain” Such a huge disappointment!
