The story was very underwhelming, from the actual story to the poor dialogue through 95%of the campaign. The story missions were okay, as far as, gameplay, but the story part of it, was terrible and didn’t feel like it fit into the universe that we have been playing in for years. There were a lot of things that just did not make sense, when compared to previous dlc ‘s, like the tone of that was set compared to the tones that the characters had; the dialogue and tone of the characters did not reflect what was happening in the story at all. The start of the campaign and previous seasons, had all been building up to a moment like this, in which one character, Nimbus, basically ruins, he only makes joke throughout the entire story, pretty much, at the most inappropriate times and also just acts like a spoiled child, with little regard to state of what’s happening. There were plenty of opportunities for amazing cutscenes and story telling, which just did not happen. I have mostly enjoyed playing destiny, ever since I played the beta of the original game and the lore that surround this universe is amazing, but this one dlc almost ruined the entire experience I have had, because I felt very ripped off with this expansion, and I steady of focusing on a good story, about the characters that we play, it’s felt like Bungie centered the story around their own political agendas and things they wanted to push. I have never really wanted to beat a campaign so badly, just so I did not have to play it again. I hope Bungie changes some things and gets back to the story telling, that I used to enjoy from them.
