I was looking forward to this drama but am very disappointed. The whole thing is filmed in semi darkness. The story lines which keep going back and forth have no depth and it’s difficult to care about any of characters. I spent a lot of time in Dudley in the 1950ties but watching this series I didn’t recognise it at all. Where were the castle and the zoo? both of which are famous landmarks in Dudley.
