Pros, Cush Jumbo, Peter Capaldi in fact 99% of the cast were spot on. Filming, cinematography absolutely great. Cons. Totally ludicrous. From the get go we are faced with a female police sergeant who makes some seriously questionable decisions but because she is the heroine she gets away with them. Already under investigation for Data protection abuses (These alone would see her suspended if she's found out) she is then placed under investigation for corporate bullying. So now she's being investigated for two things (both of which she is actually guilty of) and not yet suspended. On top of this she disobeys an incredible amount of direct orders, is never at work but pursuing her own agenda, making wrongful arrests, fraudulently gaining access to a time serving prisoner she has been told to stay away from, putting 999 calls into the public domain which then go on to cause a public disturbance. She shares information that she absolutely should not do which leads indirectly to the death of a woman. She should have been sacked about 20 times over and possibly charged with many criminal offences but hey lets ignore all that because the essence of the show is that all black people are victims and that all white policemen are racist. By the end of the show the only questions i had were why did i watch this tripe and why were the characters played by Cush and Capaldi not sacked and charged. Its honestly that bad. The sad thing is with a bit of even handedness, some less fanciful storylines it could actually have been very good.
