Visually Lightyear was amazing. Pixar continues to push the boundaries of animation art. The story was weak, it was slow, the controversial lesbian scene and kiss added nothing to the story and was not needed. I couldn’t tell if it was targeted to kids or adults - probably too slow and too dark for kids appear and lacked the smart story line of other Pixar movies to appeal to adults. For me this was one of Pixar’s weakest releases. Looking forward to another fun movie experience from Pixar and hopefully we don’t need to wait Lightyears for it.
