"Twelve o Clock High" remains one of the best, if not the best Book and Movie about wartime flying ever written and made. More than a movie it is a graduate school lesson in management about seeing a situation, determining what needs to be done, making decisions and completing those actions. The fact that it is also entertaining and enlightening is secondary to its management lessons.
