I love this movie and watch it annually :) every summer, in the hottest days, when I most miss the fall and the rain, I watch Dan In Real Life. It is feels real and genuine, like they are my own family, people I've known for years. We would gather in my grandmas house as a big family, maybe it reminds me of those days :) Good and regular people can also go through some awkward things sometimes. The movie tells the story within well-drawn moral guidelines.
