Very surprising that a successful author would write about a subject without making an effort to learn more about the central character in the book. There are many books of historical fiction written about Jesus as a child or young adult prior to his ministry. Most are very well written and interesting, However this work of fiction is so poor it is laughable. There is more to writing historical fiction than spinning an interesting tale, which is all that has been done in this book.
