A movie with a great story and a way-too-rushed ending. Why are screenwriters and directors in such a hurry? A bad ending like this can ruin everything. This movie has a great storyline and exceptional actors, but the character development needed more work when it came to the husband and the daughter going from hating what Banks does to embracing it. Their "conversion" is not explained, it just happens, and it is not believable. Why the clumsy happy ending?
(And talking about believable, why does the teenage daughter look like she's in her thirties? Why was that actress cast to play a kid, when she looks like a grown woman?)
All in all, for me it can't be more than 3 stars. A missed opportunity.
