We thought the sequel was great!
It was really fun to see the band/cast back together again, and it was true to Life as far as what happens with a lot of these bands when they’ve been together a long time, have had disagreements within the band have to get back together and or stage comebacks and especially dealing with a young “Hot Shot” idiot executive who knows nothing about the trade.
Contrary to what everybody says, we enjoyed the recall scenarios and felt there should’ve been more of them to tie this sequel back to the original.
The only stupidest thing we can’t figure out is why there was only one showing at 9:30 AM in the morning instead of primetime 4:30 to 7:30 or later at night.
There was a total of 10 of us in the audience, and we all thought the movie was great and true to the original. We could not believe that they were not playing primetime for the rest of the people our age.
We would love to watch this show and spend the money at a local theater, which would probably be full of people, laughing their butts off and bringing money into the local economy.
for us, we really enjoyed the showing and thought it was a pretty good sequel!
LONG LIVE SPINAL TAP!!
