the "natives" in the movie were not speaking actual words from the chamorro language. it was spanish. acting was alright. was just slightly upset about how my culture was portrayed. there were at minimal 5 chamorro related last names in the credits alone. they could've had a culture advisory team or someone to help with just the language. The front desk agent greeting them alone pronounced hafa adai as hoppa dai. that was in the beginning scene; and i already knew that it wasn't going to be that accurate. in addition, we probably did not bury our dead in cave. although we did bury them under our latte stones which were the stone structures that supported the huts which were our homes in earlier times. overall, it was an interesting movie.
