It is a massively underrated movie and i didn't know about Blood Diamond before today but it was such an amazing experience!! Set in Sierra Leone amidst the civil war ,the rebel group (RUF) in the name of freedom exploit their country men by making them dig for diamonds which aid them in funding arms. Archer is a diamond smuggler and he learns about solomon finding a 'pink' diamond and is in constant pursuit of getting that and in return offers to help find his family. Connelly stars as a journalist who tries to expose the corrupt diamond market who trade in 'Blood Diamonds'. It is fast moving with healthy amount of emotional scenes and i highly recommend you watch it without any second thoughts!!

A very good read...!!I To start of with it is roughly about 550 pages but when it is lengthy it is expected that it comes with times when it is difficult to turn the pages spontaneously... Especially when it comes to business matters which might not be appealing for all kind of readers. Even though story is meant to concentrate on kane and Abel's hatred towards each other... A good portion of the book deals with their personal lives . sometimes it feels that the hatred is not natural as it doesn't necessarily make the reader hate kane and abel. But overall it is a solid book and the way JA has finished the book was very touching. Happy reading... Cheers!!
