Story is very illogical. It will never happen in real life. It is a matter of mistaken identity. When the father asks if she has consent for this marriage, the daughter would like to know the details of the groom including seeing his photograph. The hero who is educated , does not want to cure his blindness because he doy want to see this world of betrayal. This is impractical.
