Penelope Hsieh

I enjoyed this book because I don't need a lot to go on in a book for me to enjoy it! But I understand if the writing style is not for you. I really enjoyed how the characters were described and it was almost like you could imagine them standing in front of you. I have seen a lot people saying that the fairytales made the book too hard to understand but I kind of like the metaphors. I also kind of enjoyed how vague the writing is because it really gets you to think more about what is going on in the book. Although the plot twist was not as shocking as I thought it would be I still enjoyed going back into the book and noticing the hints about the plot twist. I also do understand that people did not enjoy the book because it was about a rich, white, privileged family. I also do not enjoy the fact that a lot of the main conflict was about money but overall I enjoyed this book! Okay that was my review.
