Great to see intelligent Sci-Fi can still be made. This is what Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke, Herbet and many others did throughout the 20th Century. Yrs, there are some similarities to the Vietnam War, so what? There are also similarities to WW2 and many other things. The "professional" reviewers who are just saying it is a movie about the Vietnam War are just being lazy and trying to gain attention. They purely just didn't get it. I think one thing that could make it a 5 star would be the editing. There is too much "Nolan" style creeping into Sci-Fi. So, you sometimes get well, bad transitions. Nolan does his stuff as "artistic" with hidden meanings that pretty much only he knows till he tells everybody. Artistic does not mean great. Besides this element, very good movie and the girl who plays Alfie... what an amazing actress 😊
