I really don’t think it’s fair to show Maa Mahalakshmi as being scared of her own Lord. That just doesn’t sit right. She’s not someone who would stand there in fear — she is his power, his strength. She knows him better than anyone. If he’s angry or fierce, she doesn’t get frightened — she understands him, calms him, balances him. She’s not below him or separate from him. She’s his other half, his energy. And in her Narasimhi form, she’s just as powerful and fierce when needed. Showing her as afraid actually takes away from who she truly is — the mother, the goddess, the force behind everything. She’s love, strength, and wisdom all in one. We should never forget that.
