Maybe it's my love for music, my being able to relate to the ladies in my 7th decade of life, or just my love for stories of how the lives of ordinary people often yield extraordinary, and sometimes, life-changing results, but I love this movie. I so disagree with the professional reviewer that gave it only 2 out of 4 stars. There is so much here and at no point was it boring. How can you exceed the acting of the wonderful Judi Dench and Maggie Smith? They find just the right balance here. All the supporting actors are wonderful as well. Simple life well lived yields extraordinary results. Give me more. I only wish Charles Dance had made a cameo appearance. He too is one of favorite British actors!!
