Memo to Gardner (1) when all else fails, get your facts straight (b) remember that he saves lives with the skills he’s developed over decades. My guess is that Gardner might gain more traction if she dared criticise the income that she and the rest of the media make in exploiting serious issues like the cost of healthcare and the enormous stress that Doctors and the medical fraternity/sorority are under. Maybe even spend more than 2 minutes on a ‘headline grab’. Is it any wonder that The Today Show, with Gardner at its helm, is at a 13 year low in ratings. The Australian viewing public sees through all the shallowness, conceit and self focus evident in today’s segment.
