Laapataa ladies ———————- To be frank , I watched this movie quite accidentally. It is on Netflix. I urge all my friends to watch it intentionally. Worth the while! Kiran Rao has nailed it. The treatment is superb. Every frame a delight. The locales are all so likeable and a treat to the eyes. Except Ravi Kishan who is a seasoned artist, mostly new faces. Ravi Kishan dazzles in his role as the Police Inspector. He has been doing that for years now! A simple, but interesting story line which is dealt so subtly to keep the audience glued to the screen is the highlight. Mistakenly swapped on the way to their new husbands' homes, two brides navigate their unexpected surroundings, making delightful self discovery journeys. The characters are all so well defined and likeable. The artists have given their 100% as well. The positive ending adds masala too! Photography and editing is superb. Nitashi Goel,Pratibha Ranta,Sparsh Shrivastava,Ravi Kishan,Chhaya Kadam - all of them rocked. A good movie. Aamir Khan can be proud of his ex wife!
