Acid filled candy

I could NOT seem to get into it... maybe it just wasn't what I was looking for at the moment. Especially after watching "the last kingdom" and trying to go on to something that just isn't MEANT to be as good? It's starting off so slow that I haven't made it past the 3rd episode. Maybe I'll finish it and come back and give a better rating? I hope it's not one of those like "cursed" where the entire 1st season is just a layout for what is to come in the second season, and the last episode FINALLY has a bunch of action, and magic.
