Max Bear is an interesting case study of how someone can get get typecast in a memorable roll, in this case as Jethro from the " Hillbillys" to the detriment of later efforts in the pursuit of other rolls. This could very well be the reason he felt he had to write, produce and act for this movie. I liked the results!
