Retro Puppet Master Isn't Good, Its really bad. It's the only one with an PG-13 and is another prequel with very little puppet action. The film takes place a little while after puppet master 3 and the and while toulon and his puppets are hiding out from the nazis. The puppets being Blade, Pinhead, Jester, Tunneler, and Leech Woman. No Six-Shooter is present even though in behind the scene footage of this movie, Six-Shooter is clearly seen. How did he get cut out of the film, he isn't seen in puppet master or part two but is seen in curse. No sense. This film in present time takes place after puppet master 3 and six shooter isn't there! Wow! Blade finds an head that turns out to be an puppet known as cyclops. Andre Toulon then proceeds to tell the story about how he and elsa got together and the origins of the puppets before them. The retro puppets, Cyclops (who was originally an puppet that was planned to be in the first movie) Retro Blade, Retro Pinhead, Drill Sergeant, Retro Six-Shooter and Dr. Death. But too much doesn't happen, very little puppet action, very little blood, the kill count it extremely low, the catchy soundtrack and the theme song is completely silent from the film. At the end Andre Toulon says that they are wondering what happened to the retro puppets, thats another story to tell. But, we never get to know. So wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they want to watch it and watch their hopes go down real quick. 2/10

The sixth installment of the franchise is where the series ends up going down hill. The wiki states that this film takes place between first and second movie. Puppet Master 6: Curse of the Puppet Master, because Curse is always used in the sixth installment, Curse of Michael Myers or Curse of Chucky. The Film is said to have an very similar plot to Sssssss. The puppets of Andre Toulon returns to the Antagonist side in this one as this movie takes place after the first Puppet Master. The puppets from the first return, Blade, Pinhead, Jester who is more gruesome in this one than in any other puppet master film, Tunneler, and Leech Woman who is still alive because Puppet Master two happens after this film, and Six Shooter? Where was Six-Shooter in the first movie then, or the second then, There was an similar sculpture to six shooters head in toulon's room, this leads people to think he was injured and is under repairs. But still, he should have appeared in the first then. Dr. Magrew is now the master of the puppets and Secondary Antagonist, and a man, tank robert is introduced and is the main protagonist along with Magrews daughter. The big issue with this film's that David W. Allen, the person who worked on the stop motion effects from the first 5 films didn't come back to work on the effects, so what was used instead, a bunch of rod and animatronic puppets. Also a bunch of stock footage from 1-5 was used for action sequences was used. Sometimes the puppets connected onto to a plank of wood or something and is pulled across the floor lifeless as ever. But the puppets look creepy in the film. This one is one of the bloodiest in the franchise so far. But an low body count for the puppets. An unexpected ending can't spoil it though that was really chilling. It's not bad, it's ok but, Wouldn't recommend it that much than the others unless you really wanna know what happens. So give it a go if you want to see an typical killer puppet flick. 6/10

Puppet Master 5 is an continuation of the 4th movie and is pretty much the same plot as last film. The puppets from last movie returns, for some reason torch also returns in this film even though he wasn't even in the 4th. If he did appear in 4 things would've at least made a bit more sense. The plot of the film takes place a day after part 4 since filming was shot back to back, and Rick Myers is suspected for the murders of the people killed by the totems in puppet master 4 and is bailed out though, Dr. Jennings, an secondary Antagonist takes his thugs to the Bogea Bay Inn where part 4 took place to find where the puppets are. But at the same time, The battle continues with Sutekh attempting to gain the formula of the puppets back and this sends his own totem he's controlling and goes hunting and attempt to destroy the puppets also killing Jenning's Thugs One By One. The film is pretty much chaotic. It's the same as 4 but is more dramatic and only has one totem. Give it a watch, it's good as part 4. 8/10

According to the wiki, this film takes place after part 2 since 3's an prequel. Puppet Master 4 completely changes the game of the Andre Toulon's Puppets, From Antagonist to Anti-Heroes, the puppets of Andre Toulon must stop Sutekh, an demon from the underworld tries to take back the formula of Andre Toulon, which used to belong to him, but the puppets won't give up that easily. The current puppets return except for leech woman since she died in part 2 and torch for an unknown reason, torch was originally gonna appear but for some reason didn't make it into the final cut. We are introduced into new puppets, the puppets arch rival, totems sent by Sutekh, and Decapitron who doesn't come in until the very end. The film is an good one too, the same catchy sound track, the stop motion is also the same too. But, the blood and gore is a bit smaller than usual and a much more lower body count than usual. The film tries to have a bit more fun with the puppets, installing laser guns onto pinhead and tunneler for a game of laser tag don't make then scary really, but just very cheesy. But over all, the film is good and would recommend it to lots of people. 8/10

Puppet Master 3: Toulon's Revenge is the 3rd installment in the glorious Puppet Master Franchise, but is an prequel to puppet master. Andre Toulon, The Creator of the Puppets plans on getting revenge on the people which are nazis who killed his beloved wife Elsa with the help of some of his puppets. The film has the catchy soundtrack, and the stop motion animation, and another new puppet, Six-Shooter. The blood and gore is also a bit more heavy than the first 2. The plot makes the puppets into anti-heroes rather than your typical killer puppets that kill people for evil, It was an extremely great way of changing things up a bit in the series. You get to see and hear the origins of some of the puppets in this film. The film is just as fantastic as part 2 and is an fan favorite of franchise. If you want to see puppets kill and kick the most hated army of all times (The Nazis) Butts, then this is an movie for you. 8.7/10

I believe this movie is fun to watch, it's your typical sequel that is better than the first, you have new characters, an more interesting plot, an higher body count than in the original, and one of the most awesome friggin puppets yet, Torch. It has the same catchy soundtrack and the glorious stop motion as the first one. Puppet Master 2 is a must watch to people who want to see killer puppets in action. 9/10
