From my own point of view, I'd say Cobra Kai is a series worthy of both admiration and respect, despite the times that the series goes somewhat over the top.
But there is something about the series that I don't quite get:
Why call this series Cobra Kai and not something like
''Karate Kid: New Legends of Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai''?
That's what I'd like to know, seeing as there's more than one than dojo being in the spotlight throughout this martial-arts show.
In either case, I love some of the moments in Cobra Kai such as Daniel and Johnny settling their differences, Miguel and Robby becoming friends,
Sam finally putting aside her rivalry with Tory, even Hawk joining the good guys, regardless of his cool haircut given that some people might think of him as a rebellious rockstar.
My favorite scene from the series is that Daniel Larusso finally defeats Terry Silver in the last episode of season 5.
But even though Silver may be behind bars, John Kreese is on the loose.
Which means this show is far from over, and you can be sure that there's every bit the chance that Kreese will use any means necessary to succeed where Silver failed to come out on top.
I hope you're ready for a season 6 coming soon folks.
Because it is like they say: ''Cobra Kai never dies!''
