This is hands down the best anime movie I have seen. Right from the opening scene, it takes its audience on a emotional roller-coaster ride that will not stop even after the film is over. You will smile, you will frown, you will shout, you will cry! (Trigger warning: If you are an emotion person, watch this with someone you are close and comfortable with, for you will be in an emotional mess by the time the movie ends.) The story itself is a dark theme of bullying and path to redemption and self-improvement. With the characters flawed in their own way, their road to their future would be paved with their past history, and it would impact what step they take. From outright dis-likable characters, to characters you root for, this film will make sure you are immersed fully in the story space. A beautiful story, a powerful artistic visualization matched with a music score and sound effects that will grind your emotions raw. It is a film you would return to again and again for new appreciations of scenes and actions, and get emotional all over again. It is a must-see recommendation. You will remember it for years to come and maybe, just maybe, it would make you see life differently, for the better.
