The movie's CGI was spot on. If you are one of the ones that saw the original and are excited for the nostalgia, don't be. This movie was ruined and really missed the mark. If you haven't seen the original then you have a higher chance of liking this movie. Disney would have had more success if they had duplicated the cartoon with this movie. I had hoped that this movie was going to be a lot closer to the cartoon than what it was. Beyonce's renditions of these classic songs makes you want to cover your ears with her obvious over singing, which is typical of singer who wants to put their own spin to try to add originality. The familiar scenes from the old are ruined by the new with the with the slight but impactful changes of words in the lines and new scenes. If you have seen the old one, be prepared for a let down, if you havent, then this movie has a chance with you.

I agree with all the negative reviews on rotten tomato. Rise of the Beasts is so empty, horrible actors and a lacking of connection between all actors, human and alien. I did not find anything enjoyable about this movie. I spent the second half of the movie reading reviews just to see if our thoughts and opinions aligned.

This movie was absolutely horrible. I love the seasons. I turned the movie off after 30 minutes. I have no clue where these 5 star ratings come from. Are we watching the same movie? Watch it on hbomax, do not waste your money on this.
