As a northeastern having lived 4years in Kolkata, this film surely struck a chord with me, yes we are known to have such delicacies in our states, the friendship and relationship portrayed was just so real.. even the racial discrimination shown was exactly what happens in reality though not at all times...lastly when Channi was telling bendang to venture out and build relationships with ppl not just from the NE, I was completely in their story while living through what I experienced in those years..all in all a very brilliant film!
